The Kershaw Knives Blur Tanto, Serrated Edge – Black 1670TBLKST features an angled shape. The tanto blade is uniquely developed to pierce tougher materials. This is achieved by placing more steel behind the point of the blade. The edge of this blade is hollow ground to enable a much sharper edge then for additional versatility, partial serration is added to the blade.

The blade of the Tanto is built of high-performance Sandvik 14C28N stainless blade steel giving it corrosion resistance and hardness unlike typical steels. The black (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating provides additional extra corrosion resistance and is non-reflective.
