SureFire EP4 Sonic Defender Plus Ear Plugs – 25 Pack

The SureFire EarPro EP4 Sonic Defender Plus Earplugs allows you the ability to hear normal sounds and conversations while simultaneously protecting your ears from damaging sounds that get way to loud. The triple-flanged stem design fits larger ear canals and provides a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 24dB. Sounds, at safe levels, are allowed to pass through into the ear canal, while potentially harmful noises (above 85dB) are reduced via the proprietary noise reducing filter design. Included are attached filter caps, which can be inserted for additional protection and help to block out lower-level noise, such as white noise or traffic. Right/left color-coded Sonic Defenders Plus are made from a soft but durable, hypoallergenic polymer that provides all-day comfort and an extended product life (up to 6+ months, depending on usage and care). Their patented EarLock retention rings lock the earplugs in place, while soft, adjustable triple-flanged stems provide secure seals in the ear canals. A low-profile design means EP4s can be worn while wearing a helmet or mask, or while using a phone or headset. Available in clear, black, or orange.

Comfortable EP4 Sonic Defenders Plus also serve as earpieces for compatible radio communication systems* simply by removing the noise-reducing filter and attaching the earpiece to the system. NOTE: EP4 earpiece no longer provides hearing protection once the noise-reducing filter has been removed.

EP4s are available in small (S), medium (M), and large (L). Proper size is based on the dimensions of your ear’s concha bowl. Size “medium” fits most people. For those with smaller (in diameter) ear canals, the two-flange stem of our EP3 Sonic Defenders may provide a better fit than the EP4’s three-flange stem.

EP4 Sonic Defenders Plus are sold as a single left/right set or in a box containing 25 sets. Each set is packaged in a convenient carry case and includes a polymer lanyard.
